I am delighted to say that this year I am, once again, pleased to be exhibiting in ‘Glass In Isolation’ - An exhibition of 27 Glass Artists of WA showcasing the individuality of contemporary glass art in Western Australia.
Glass In Isolation - Mossenson Galleries - 115 Hay St, Subiaco, Western Australia - 14-22 September 10-4 pm.
The rationale behind ‘Glass In Isolation’ is intended to be a broad subject so that artists can interpret it in multiple ways that reflect the isolation of Western Australia in the world with its particular culture and environment and the experiences and stories of our people.
These 27 artists are of varying experience and have used many different techniques to interpret the exhibition subject and produced 200 pieces. All exhibitors in this exhibition are from Western Australia.
The artists are:
Anne Sorensen, Donna Lydon, Donna Di Bartolomeo, Estelle Dean, Gina Scriven, Greg Ash, Harry Brown, Jill Yelland, Jo-Ann Colyer, Jo-Anne Maire, Karen Frankel, Kim Cottrell, Kimberly Stuart, Lee Johnson, Liliana Stafford, Marc Leib, Marion Johns, Merilyn O’Shannessy, Nada Kesic, Nada Murphy, Philippa Simson-Bint, Ruthe Connop, Sabrina Dowling Giudici, Sarah Mitchell, Sharon Parker, Silvana Ferrario, Vivienne Jagger
A sample of the pieces on show is detailed below. However, glass is best seen in person at the exhibition!
